FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Aug. 25, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Transworld Business Advisors (Transworld) is proud to announce that its Chief Executive Officer, Andrew "Andy" Cagnetta, has been named the new Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Clery Center, a national nonprofit dedicated to campus safety.

Cagnetta's connection to Clery Center is both personal and professional — he was a classmate and close friend of Jeanne Clery at Lehigh University. His decades of leadership, combined with his dedication to safer campuses, make him an exceptional choice to help guide Clery Center's mission.

"I initially supported Clery Center because Jeanne was my friend, and her story changed my life," said Andrew "Andy" Cagnetta, CEO of Transworld. "Over the years, I've seen firsthand how Clery Center's work is saving lives—well beyond Jeanne's story. It is a true honor to serve as Board Chair, and I'm committed to making sure her legacy continues through safer campuses and empowered students. Together with the board and staff, I want to ensure our mission thrives not just today, but for generations to come."

Cagnetta also brings extensive business and nonprofit leadership experience to the role. He leads Transworld, the world's largest business brokerage firm, with hundreds of offices spanning multiple countries. Alongside his professional achievements, he has served on nonprofit and corporate boards including United Way of Broward County, Junior Achievement of South Florida, Legal Aid Service, Broward Workshop and the International Business Brokers Association.

Clery Center works to advance campus safety nationwide by supporting compliance with the Jeanne Clery Act and advocating for stronger safety legislation, including the Stop Campus Hazing Act.

"We are excited to welcome Andy to this role at such a pivotal time for Clery Center, adds Bob Alig, Clery Center Executive Director. "His business acumen, nonprofit leadership, and deep personal commitment to our mission will strengthen our ability to expand our reach, build new partnerships, and create safer campus environments nationwide."
