Overview
Pharmez, a pharmaceutical SEZ set up by Zydus Infrastructure, hosts 12 pharmaceutical formulation units in Gujarat's golden pharma corridor near Ahmedabad. Under India's water discharge regulations, these companies need treated discharge water before it can leave the premises, requiring significant investment in the right technology, equipment, and maintenance.
To address this scale, Zydus set up a common effluent treatment plant, maintained by Aldee Water, to serve the utility and process needs of all 12 units. Aldee Water approached Grundfos for a complete pump solution for the plant.
